Both Deacon Don and Gretchen have received Christian healing training at the Christian Healing Ministries in Jacksonville, Florida under the guidance of Francis and Judith MacNutt.

Deacon Don has taken Sacred Art of Dying courses offered by Richard and Mary Groves from the Sacred Art of Living Center near Bend, Oregon.

Deacon Don and Gretchen reside in Riverside, California and are members of the St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish Community.

Deacon Don is passionate in his efforts to promote global solidarity.  In his travels to St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the Philippines, he has developed an understanding of not only the plight of those who experience poverty as part of their daily lives, but has also seen how the structure of the family and how each individual's relationship to that family life can make matters much better, or much worse.  Deacon Don believes that we must promote respect for the differences that each culture has to offer and embrace the richness of those differences.  It is truly wonderful to experience relationships between individuals who respect each other and their cultural differences.
